Sassuolo CEO Giovanni Carnevali hopes the transfer of Jacomo Raspadori can be completed before the new season begins this weekend.

Napoli are making the most of the signing of the 22-year-old forward, hoping to become a key part of their attack following the release of Lorenzo Insigne and Dries Mertens. leave the ufabet team

In an interview with Sport Mediaset, Carnevali spoke about the current state of talks over Raspadori, hoping to end this week.

“I hope that a Rapadori deal will come soon, we hope everything will be fine before the season starts. We have been talking to Napoli for a while. Let’s see when it ends,” said Carnevali.

“We are happy to keep this player. But we knew he wanted to leave for a bigger club. He will move under the right conditions. It’s not easy to negotiate. There are times when we have to end negotiations and in a couple of days or full this week.”

“We would gladly keep the player but we know he wants to go to a big club. He will go there under the right conditions. It is not an easy negotiation. There is a time in which we have to close it out, and it’s a few days, within this week at the most.”

The 22-year-old Raspadori shined last season under Alessio Dionisi, scoring 10 goals and providing six assists in 36 Serie A appearances. The talented forward is also a regular feature in Roberto Mancini’s Italy set-up and he was a part of the squad that won Euro 2020 last year.
